This piece, "Subatomic Whispers 3", is a framed work on paper.

Subject Matter:

An angular mouth projects a jagged red bolt off-page. Is the bolt speech, song, scream, or some non-vocal form of energy? And what of the dark scribble-ball looming behind it all? Green and blue provide some relief, if not answers.

The work is made on 80-lb. cream-colored acid-free paper. Materials used are charcoal, marker, and colored pencil. It is sprayed with a coat of fixative to prevent smudging, but careful handling is encouraged. The back is signed, dated, and titled. This item can be purchased as the artwork only, matted, or matted and framed. The mat is custom cut. The frame is an elegant, quality black wooden frame with clean lines (see photos). The glazing is non-glare acrylic. The back of the frame will be signed, dated, titled, and wired for hanging.
