This piece, "Subatomic Whispers 2", is a framed work on paper.

Subject Matter:

A primitively drawn mouth in the lower right quadrant acts as the focal point. Behind it floats an orange orb. To the left are various shapes - have they been projected from the mouth in lieu of words, or did they exist before the mouth came along? Below them, a murky black form has flitted into the image space, leaving a contrail in its wake.

This work is made on 80-lb. cream-colored acid-free paper. Materials used are charcoal, acrylic paint, marker, and colored pencil. It is sprayed with a coat of fixative to prevent smudging, but careful handling is encouraged. The back is signed, dated, and titled. This item is matted and framed. The frame is an elegant, quality black wooden frame with clean lines (see photo). The glazing is non-glare acrylic. The back of the frame will be signed, dated, titled, and wired for hanging.
