Spacetime Puncture

from $247.50

Dimensions: 16 x 20 inch image on 18 x 22 inch paper.

A brilliant orange disc floats above a gravitational plane... the disc may be a sphere but we are left to wonder about any higher dimensions. A pair of eyes, or an eye and its shadow, stare out at us, observing, recording perhaps, or maybe staring through us... A curve traverses our field of view from bottom to top, winding its way toward some unknown destination. It appears to be a tube or conduit of some sort, as it is forcefully emitting some substance from an x-shaped puncture. Perhaps this is a stream of photons or x-rays, or maybe something not yet known to our kind. We wonder about what chaos may be about to ensue...

This item is a work on high-quality Canson Mi Teintes cream-colored paper made with acrylic paint, marker, and colored pencil. The image dimensions are 16x20 inches. The paper size is 18x22 inches.
