My Pyramid Scheme series continues with this work on paper, Pyramid Scheme 34.

Subject Matter:

Centered in the image is a single pyramid enclosed by two transparent cubes. A dark triangle serves as the backdrop for these forms - is it another pyramid or maybe a shadow of one? Straight, smoky lines traverse and intersect in the bottom half of the piece, with freehand, fluid green lines nonchalantly floating over top.

The work is made on 80-lb. cream-colored acid-free paper. Materials used are charcoal, acrylic paint, marker, and colored pencil. It is sprayed with a coat of fixative to prevent smudging, but careful handling is encouraged. The back is signed, dated, and titled. This item can be purchased as the artwork only, matted, or matted and framed. The mat is custom cut. The frame is an elegant, quality black wooden frame with clean lines (see photos). The glazing is non-glare acrylic. The back of the frame will be signed, dated, titled, and wired for hanging.
